Tool for cleaning email list of bad emails

I am looking for a tool to clean my list of bad emails. I have something which meets my old needs but it is very slow and just won't cut it. I do not care if I either have to send the list as a whole some kind of bogus test email as long as I can use the results to purge the list of bad and out-of-date emails. Any thoughts?

There are E-Mail Checker programs and websites but for big amounts of e-mails they are not free as I know. Just write "E-Mail Checker" to Google.
 
Be careful when using either GSA or maxprog verifiers - I've used Maxprog and email verifier pro v6.3 on an identical email list and the results vary. When I submit the emails to the same list through MailChimp's service, I get quite a few bounces nevertheless. So what's I've done now is created an extensive Excel spreadsheet which compares the two email verifiers to the results of atual submission and from that have created an algorithm which is also based on my needs for my email campaigns. This has now resulted in a success rate of 88% of meilas that are sent successfully. As an aside, the email addresses were scraped from various websites and online databases over the course of several months - thus resulting in high bounce rates.

Just thought I'd add my two cents' worth.
 
As it happens, i've been coding a python script to do some email list sorting for myself today, I could probably make something to suit your needs. Mine sorted 5k emails in less than 3 secconds, I haven't timed it precisely yet.

you need something like List Motor to scrub your list from spam traps, dedupe , etc and you need something like Fast Email Verifier if you want to verify active emails
 
I am new so can't post the url but you can try googling bspdev and look for the email validator. I think its a great tool for free

I have a solution to clean emails for bounces and spam traps. They charge bases on 1 million records and 5 million records. Please PM me if interested we can do a group buy option.
 
the only way to get a list 100% clean and send an e-mail to every address
I use the accaunt direct mail and other IP to clean up my lists saving a lot of money so
 
If the list is scraped and if you have not removed spam traps and all other threats from the list none of your emails will reach inbox. All your domains and IP's will be blacklisted in a day. Perhaps to check bounces you will have to send those mails and you have no other go..

Besides cleaning the list up (garbage, mails without @ sign, etc), I've heard good feedback for email-validator.net . If I were you, I'd also look for ''email verifier'' on a torrent site - there's no guarantee on this though, ultimate and most accurate solution would be to just send an email and see if it doesn't bounces.

i think you should send the emails and receive the replies( in an email setup to receive the replies),then collect the bad emails and remove them from your master list simple
 
the only way to verify emails is to send emails, if the email bounce back it mean dead.

My setup can handle all this.
 
Can you please clarify what is bad email ? IF you mean a non valid email format you may check it via regexp: Just google "email regexp"

 
There are websites like mailboxvalidator which can check if any email is bad but does not send an email during the process.
 
@OP: You can try GSA Email verifier. It has free version as well to test
 
You must need a SPAM filter to protect your Email Inbox free from some unwanted mails.
I'm using boxbe ; and it's working properly for me for my several mail ids!
 
anyone figure out a good solution for cleaning the lists? I have a HUGE 28 million list of records I need cleaned.... if you have something reasonable that works please PM me. :)
