Took a huge downfall :(

Recently I took a huge downfall with my blog that has been making me over $20 a day. For the past 2 month my blog was getting a good amount of traffic , 10,000- 20,000 per day. I did this by linking my site link to in description on youtube videos. 2 months ago I was lucky enough to find someone who was selling their youtube channel with 10,000 subs and millions of views on videos. It was one of those "Fail video" niches.

by linking my site in those video description, my website was making income. Today Youtube decided to close down the WHOLE channel, removing all videos. My traffic dropped to almost less that 100 hits a day...

I'm still trying to figure out a way to get back up to where I was before. Any idea would be appreciated.

Ugh, had a similar situation with one of my advertisers many years ago, just gotta think outside the box and figure out how to get those visitor counts back up, having a huge downfall is a great motivator for thinking outside the box.
 
lesson learned. Just do what you did, except do it better this time. $20 a day off a blog. good job.
 
yeah thats why it is said "Dont put all your eggs in one basket". Good thing is now you know that money can be made from youtube so start working again and am sure you will find way to make the same again or even better I would say;)

Im going to try and start over but its not easy making a video go viral lol
 
Always happens to the best of us. You make a lot of money, then suddenly your source of income goes down the toilet. You'll find something else, though.
 
You were just using adsense?
You should always monetize in different ways if possible.
Put email capture form on sidebar or below each post.
You can at least promote affiliate products.

I was using CPA and 2 pop up networks.

He lost the traffic source not the monetization method.
 
Out of interest, where did you buy the channel?

How long did it survive and did you make your money back?

I got the channel from a guy who was selling it in a forum. I paid $150 and i made the money back in a week, it was way worth it.

It lasted for just over 2 months for me.
 
I've had like 30 good YouTube Accounts closed, but I'm still banking money from the site regularly.

Maybe create a new channel, re upload and hope that people remember your blog...
