Hi,
So I have this MNS which has grown to around 26 posts. The homepage is a static page.
I only have one category which is "uncategorised" and the permalink structure is /%postname%.
At the moment my "recent posts" box is very very long and shows links to all my 26 posts.
So as you can see my site is in a bit of a mess.
So now I want to tidy it up a bit and not have 26 recent posts.
Problem is if I change the recent posts box to only show the latest 5 posts then there will be no way to navigate to the posts that are not 'recent'. That doesn't really matter in terms of my customers don't tend to navigate around the site much. BUT my concern is that I will be penalised for not having a nice internal linking structure. I am also concerned that these internal page which now rank well for their keywords will lose rankings if I change the structure.
Can I create some categories and move the posts into these and then have links to the new categories?
Anyone got any ideas? Would really appreciate it.
Cheers
