Too many Hops, no sales

Possible reasons:
1. Historically CB sales goes way down in Oct, Nov & Dec. This is my personnel experience specially on weight loss and overall Health niche. Same traffic, rankings etc but sales simply go down with no apparent reason except seasonal effect.
2. The CB product site has a "not so good" sales page/video
3. Your site page and the CB site do not create sales flow. This is confusing but I will try to explain. Normally if a person lands on your website and clicks on your affiliate link, he is almost 60% ready to buy the product. But when he reached the actual product site, there are some things that makes the customer cautious. It can be anything from design of site to "claims" or even price. So you need to make sure that the CB vendor site should act as a part of your sales funnel.
4. CB shaving. It may sounds odd but sometimes it seems that CB do some shaving.. or atleast it feels that way. Of course no one has proof and it sounds absurd to think of a company that big doing such stuff but markethealth has been proved in the past doing shaving and it is a big name in health affiliate.

Let's talk about shaving. How to explain a huge drop in conversions in the last months of the year?
In my case, things are getting really weird these days, $/hop dropped from 2$/hop to 0.10$/hop.
This is really strange, especially when all the parts of my sales funnels are still in place and doing good. I've got the same traffic, the same amount of comments, the same amount of opt-ins. I do a lot of pre-selling, I know very well my traffic.
The only thing that is missing are the sales.
Also CB analytics is acting pretty weird.

How is this possible? Just a case?

Usually in the last quarter of the year, sales goes down for various businesses due to holidays and events. If you have a gift site or something that can be considered as a gift like watches, toys etc you are good but for other industries its not a good quarter. For example if you have home improvement related products, your sales will go down. If you are dealing in Finance market, this quarter will be slow. Even giants like Abercrombie witnesses a drop in sales in these months. I will prefer to delay the purchase of "101 self motivation techniques" ebook to use that money for buying stuff during promotional event like cyber monday etc

But as I said unlike markethealth no one has proved that CB is shaving. However there is always a chance that may be CB is shaving,so I added it as #4 :)

There are many probabilities:

1. Your traffic source untargeted
2. Your landing page not good
3. Clickbank product scrub

Maybe not worth mentioning but if the source traffic contains an awfully lot of robots then that can also be a problem. When I forced people to use java script before clicking the affiliate link the traffic dropped from about 100 a day to 10.
