Tried searching but struggle to find an exact answer for TikTok

Can too many hashtags affect reach? Is there a sweet spot for reach?

I usually only use 3-5 hashtags, but they have no affect on video reach. It's mostly used for your videos to come up in search.

Short hashtags, about 5. It helps people when searching to come to your video

I think if you're just starting out, you should have about 6-9 hashtags
It has a significant impact on reach if it is a new account

Too many runs the risk of being too all over the place which could have a negative effect. Keep it to around 3 or 5 hashtags as a rule of thumb. Safe range, that.
