Too many edits affecting performance?

Can too many edit reset campaign performance?
How do you optimize without hurting results?
I don't think so. I usually start a campaign by targeting a broad area, and after a while, I get signals about the source of orders. Then, I focus my optimization on that area and eliminate the parts that aren't generating orders. This helps reduce costs and increase profits.

When testing campaigns, it's better to make minor, consistent adjustments instead of resetting them all the time. Once you observe constant results, you may start to scale up. Keep a close eye on how people use your landing page. Sometimes making changes to the design or targeting might benefit more than just raising the budget.

Yes, too many edits can confuse the algorithm. I usually wait a few days between changes and tweak one thing at a time to stay safe.

Yes, frequent edits can reset learning, so it is better to test changes slowly instead of changing everything at once.

batch changes and wait for data to settle before adjusting again.

Small, controlled tweaks beat constant micro-edits.

Creating more new ad creatives and expanding keyword targeting won’t affect existing campaigns, while still helping improve overall ad performance.

yes too many edits reset learning. stick to 20% budget changes max and wait 3 days.

yes beacuse if you change too much at once google think its new campaign and start over.

yes, too many edits can hurt performance, but not in the way most people think. It’s less about a “penalty” and more about constantly disrupting the system’s learning and stability.

yeah too many edits absolutely tanks performance, ran a google ads campaign last year and after like 6 structural changes in 10 days the cpa jumped from $18 to $47 and took almost 3 weeks to stabilize. now i try to batch changes and give it at least 7 days between anything major.

Take time to setup properly and then tweak whatever is necessary instead of frequently making bulk changes.

Yes, frequent edits can reset the learning phase. It’s best to make small, structured changes and allow enough time for data before optimizing further.

in my exp ya bro too many edits can mess performance specially if you change budget, targeting or creatives again n again it kinda reset learning phase so results drop for some time, i usually avoid touching running campaign too much, i duplicate and test new changes in new ad set or campaign, keep original stable and do small changes slowly not all at once, this way performance not get hit badly.
