Too many Domains to handle it alone

Dear all,

As I was Domain Flipping a while ago, I made some big mistakes, bought trashy Domains, moved over to Char/Number combinations, and had some new gTLD Domains in my Portfolio (which should be pretty much worthy).
Now, I have started to collect 4L Com Domains, primarily Chinese Quad; some are pronounceable. I Know Estibot is not accurate at all, but there are Domains up to 50k$

Key Facts:
  • I have an SH Portfolio where approximately 1/3 is approved (75k $), and 2/3 is Pending + some in the Standard Portfolio
  • I have 2x 3L net Domains in my Portfolio and 1x 3L org
  • I would say, overall, Registrars, I have around 300-400 Domains.
  • Some Domains are probably 25 years old, with clean History - But I'm not doing well with selling those.
  • The oldest ones are 7-8 Months. Until Renewal
  • 50% of the Domains are now on SAV, 45% on Godaddy, 2,5% at Dynadot, and 2,5% at Namebright

What I'm looking for:
  • Advice on where to sell the Domains (NamePr.) is not an option since everybody sees themself as wholesalers and doesn't offer okayish prices.
  • Someone who is experienced who can help me to Liquidate the older Domains - 20% Commission for each Domain
  • Probably pick a few Domains out and develop them to Casino Websites or any other Revenue Stream like offering Backlinks.
  • Any other valuable Advice

@Salamouna: What kind of Excel sheet is needed? So, what type of Information for the Domain? Name, TLD, Registrar, Created on, Renewal at, GD / Estibot Appraisal? Is that enough?

That would be my next question: how to park and where to park correctly once I parked 5-6 Domains at SEDO and acquired a traffic service, which was eventually a bit too much :D

Would you instead use SEDO as parking? Another, probably better provider or Host's Page with all the Domains and Ads (like Hybrid).

Is there any kind of GD bidding bot? Or any community that can help out each other?
Some Domains which are really BAD go for so much money, and some incredible 4L Domains, for almost nothing.
 
Good luck domains were always for me kind of luck or waiting long till selling. I mostly use parking with the price that I would expect. I never invested in big ones 4l/3l com, net because it is hard to find buyers.
 
I also have about 10 4L com, mainly for the Chinese market. And like 5 3L net and 3L org, because as of now, I feel that ORG is more worth it.
But Auctions at GD or SD are painful. Does someone know if there is a kind of a group/community that "helps" each other with that matter?
 
Isnt Flippa a page more for Webpages / Projects?
Can I list my GD domains there?

Currently just thought about SEDO (1.) and then Afternic.

I feel like domaining is a lone road everyone wants to make a profit and sell their own stuff.
 
i don't see why people even buy domains, i'm addicted personally to buying domains and then i never even use them lol... everyone falls in love with these domains but nobody wants to buy them, i mean who would? you can just create any domain name you want with the plethora of extensions, it's just vanity if you get the .com you want, and most small businesses just use .io or .ai or whatever anyways.
 
well..COM is still the most valuable extension, for startups more .io (input/output) or maybe .co
.AI was hyped; it will lose popularity, but imagine the com example.
you have 26 Latin letters, a four letter domain = 26*26*26*26 = 456.976 combinations, they are since 2016 registered.
for the Chinese market (they don't like Vowels = A, E, I, U, O + V = 20 letters remain -> 160.000 premium combinations

At some point, only 3L will be considered, com domains with three letters, for Europeans = 17.576 combinations (not premium)
Western Domain names often don't include. Q, X, Z (was not even included in the example before) = 23 * 23 * 23 = 12.167 premium
And then you have the producibility, patterns, etc.
That is why the reason 3L com starts at around $50k

At some point, this will also happen.ORG, or maybe .NET

My opinion.

And now, think of the combinations of letters that are not premium but match the Chinese and Western markets.



Chinese:

Western, mid to low letters:
Q, J, W, Y, Z, V, X, U (from very bad to moderate - left to right)

20 - 6 = 14 letters, premium for both the Chinese and Western markets.

14*14*14 = 2744 combinations without considering pronouncability (I mean, with 3L, it's hard, at least if you don't have a word like the sky, etc.)

So, the Domains market was better, but now prices are falling hard.
But let's see.
 
yea but websites don't matter that much anymore. it's mostly branding across platforms and apps.
 
Not really; only the Western world has almost 90-98% internet penetration.
About 30-40% of the world's population has no, or less, internet connection.
Underdeveloped countries will start in the same stage as ours, most likely in 10-15 years.

Western countries stole TLDs like ".TV" from Tuvalu.
The government agreed and earned probably 15% max, but it still - is digital exploitation.

I have no idea about domain flipping until you really-really good domain like this one, otherwise I don't think it makes good amount of money.

I totally agree with what madeinheaven2 said, I can just make tesla.xyz if I don't get the .com

Don't you try to turn them into websites, fill the content with AI, then put banner "domain for sale", meanwhile you can build your own PBN.
Hire some freelancers to deal with the content creation.

Once it has higher DR the price will goes higher in time, just like investing into a real-estate property.

To save the cost:
Put all the domains into 1 hosting account with unlimited add-on domains (or maybe 10-50 domains per hosting account for some reasons)
