I just came across this keyword

Should I go with it?? Or check the backlink anchors of the top rankers?? Looks like an amazing keyword to me...

need suggestions..

If you think you can put up content that is relevant to the keyword then go for it.

The competition seems to pretty high and the CPC is relativ low.
I would check the following:
- Google trends
- PBR
- Is there enough good longtail keywords exists to target besides the main KW?
- How many pages use the keyword in title and url?
- Is EMD exists for the KW?

Oh btw, I wont be going for the EMD.. I have a site on which I will add an article on this keyword.. but il have to backlink that page ofcourse to make it rank... the site on rank one has 6 backlinks

Google's keyword tool's data is seriously flawed. Traffic Travis uses Google's data. Use a Keyword tool that does not rely on Google's data.

The data in the google keyword tool is fine if you select "exact" within the tool, and deselect "broad".

Traffic Travis says it's pretty easy. The top site has 6 BL to the page. You have a related domain already. I would have made content, done a Bookmark submit, done a AMR submit, and be sitting here waiting to rank front page for it. Sure $0.58 isn't huge, but that only really matters if you are monetizing with Adsense. If there is a related affiliate product you could make good cash from this keyword. Whats the worst that could happen...you might only rank 3rd after a week or so? Search competition numbers don't mean shit, if the pages ranking on the front page are not strong and unoptimized. They are your competition. Not the 13 million pages that might happen to also mention the keyword somewhere on the page, but not even know the keyword is worth going for.

exactly.. and cpc is not a concern for me as iam not targetting on a MNS... just a MNK ;) Micro Niche Keyword

This shouldn't be too hard if you get a exact match domain.
Slap some fake traffic on there like 10k for $10 and you should be ranking relatively easy.
But to be honest, nobody can really say with absolute certainty that it is easy/hard to rank, you'll know when you try.
