Too all new guys asking questions > getting bashed

EDIT: Sorry for the typo in the title... I guess thats what happens when you work for 12 ours straight.

I was reading through a thread the other day in which some new guy asked basic question and senior guys were telling him to use the search button. Some were polite but some bashed hit a little bit. And the dude made a post saying he doesn't like BHW and he'll rather go back to his day job anymore because of the flaming he got.

I highly doubt a person who loses his temper like that would succeed in business.

I mean we all are noobs at some point and we all got bashed like that, didn't we? You have to learn a lesson and not make that mistake again! Life teaches you a lesson for every single mistake you commit... it is then up to you to take it positively or negatively.

So, if you get bashed, instead of being sad, look at the bright side, learn a lesson, move on!

BHW is the best forum to start at, to stay at and to do business at. PERIOD!
We are good guys, and for the bashing noobs get sometimes, that is part of life at BHW.

to be honest , I seriously doubt '' each one & everyone have a chance '' to do IM ... well in this case is not important if you are tempted to taste some BH ... or any other hat at the end of the day . Usually '' newbies '' asking questions simply and plain retard , saw other days somewhere , a fella asking '' what is scrapebox '' ... c'mon ... I mean seriously ... this particular post was really needed for him to have any clue where and what to start to look for ? ...

I think I`ve spend over the years hundreds of hours with various peoples chatting , some of them coming from programming field , others offline marketers/salesman / other kind of professionals ... and so on various peoples ... I don't mind and I never mind to give a hand you know ... maybe to give to anyone a hit ( after you face some troubles and manage to fix them - it's much easy to help others to speed their pain process of finding solution ) but at least like an golden rule those questions must have some '' common sense '' in them ...

If its a question like "How can I make $xxxxx tonight" or "Im new and want you to do all the work buy teach me so I get paid" I see a reason for a little bashing to happen.

But really, on a lot of things I see no need for it. I myself have been lucky and when I ask a question or post something more on the pointless side people have been super cool.

Of course I have made one post asking to make $xxx.xx about in no time and got just what I should of.

If someone ask me something I try me best to answer and if I dont know the answer I will look in to it a little.

I do think people should do research on there own but we are all here to help, get help and share. So unless its a "give me a step by step worksheet on how to make money" I think its best to help.

If you know the answer: 1: spend the 10 mins to help out OR 2: just move along
If you dont know the answer: 1: Move along OR do a little research, it may help you

And for the people that say search. . . . . Have you ever tried to find a thread on this site or any other site that you were just at and not been able to?

Yeah, it happened to me the other day. Just shows that sometimes searching is not that easy.

I agree. Some people do post questions and others flame for no particular reason apart from the fact that the other member is a "noob".

However, sometimes there are certain questions - "How do I make money online" which IMHO is 100% fine to be angry with. Those type of questions are pretty much fucking stupid. If you come to a forum about making money, then the first thing you don't do is ask how to make money.

But I agree with what BK is saying - there's going to be people on this forum who will shout at you / flame you/ swear and be totally rude, but just ignore them. No need to go crying - forget it and start fresh.

This forum, and others like it, is an elitist private club that neither tolerates newbies well nor suffers fools of any stripe as each of its elders defines those terms. Thank you "donor" for speaking out about this reality.

If you ask a question that can easily found by doing a search, you deserve to be given a hard time. Newbies need to understand that the wealth of information here is searchable and there will probably be countless threads to what they are asking.

Yeah, it will turn some people away, however they can take the criticism as a learning experience and actually take the initiative to learn them self, without being spoon feed. You will actually learn MORE by researching on your own IMHO.

Im whats classed as a noob on here.
I didnt come on here saying "how do i make money, im 10 years old" or something equally stupid. I had a bit more common sense.
IM is a massive world. People dont just give you something on a plate.
People who make it in this world of IM are the ones who may be noobs but have spent a few days looking on the forum and seeing something a post, reading it, not understanding a few bits of it and then making a post outlining the SPECIFIC QUESTIONS they want an answer too.

Ive been a member of many forums to do with varied areas of life and Noobs always get bashed. Its part of their welcome to forum life.

I'm feeling so sorry for people who cares about flame from others and they don't have power to move on.

I learned that haters and kids are everywhere and also I've kept searching for good people and I found them.

Use Google to search the forum - I find it's better to go to G and enter my search string followed by + BHW or + blackhatworld. Usually find it a lot quicker that way

I have been helping others with on and offline marketing for a long time. One of the things I tell them from the very beginning is "when" they see an article, post or idea they think may be useful later to create a text file or a folder. Keep the link to it on the text file or copy and paste the entire thing to a document and save that in the folder.

Name them all clearly what they are so when you have a lot of items, and you will, in the folder, you can find what you are looking for.

FYI, the reason I tell them to copy the entire thing is sometimes the item gets deleted and the link is worthless at that point.

If you save something you don't need it is simple, delete it later BUT if you didn't save something you "think" you may want to see later, you may never see it again.

Just my 2 cents on how I find threads that I think may be important to me...

Better yet, get a free copy of Evernote. If you browse with FF then you can right click on any webpage and say Add to Evernote. Evernote will save the whole page with the link to your notebook. Great tool and it's free!
