Forums, while a huge resource are also a huge waste of time if you're not careful.

If I could have back all the time wasted on this and another forum I'd be a rich rich man lmao. No new forums for me

I will say, I used to run to WF a lot when I was completely new to the idea of IM (not long ago, lol)... I thought I was getting gems everytime I read something new -- to me. Then I strayed a bit and found out that everything they were selling was just rehashed free information. There was nothing of real value, and I am glad I am so cheap, because even when I thought something was worth the 5.99 or 7.99 I stopped myself before buying. Then I figured I wanted to learn more about SEO and thank Googliscious that BHW came up in my search.

The stuff I learn for free here is worlds away from anything WF has to offer. I will admit I get caught looking at old threads here, and some of the ideas have gotten saturated with copy cats doing EXACTLY what is being said.. But I have learned here to take those as a jumping off point and twist it to my own plans... Still working on that part, but thanks to all who share...

Now I am really confused

I actually ran across that forum before finding BHW. I browsed around there for awhile and there was just something that I didn't like about it. I finally realized after finding BHW, that most of the people over at wf didn't seem very genuine and that's why I didn't like it. I have made a lot of mistakes listening to other people from places other than here. The only reason I was able to correct those mistakes was due to people contributing honest info here.

I found BHW around last Oct (I didn't sign up until later). It was the coolest thing ever to find this place because when I started here I was only doing EBay. I kept seeing things on here about SEO, making money off websites and I got curious. That leaded me down a path to buying my own domain and recently launching my very first website. Before coming here, I had no clue how to do anything relating to websites. I always wanted a website, but I felt that it was not obtainable.

BHW has been so inspiring to me. I have yet to make a single dollar off my site but I am so proud of myself. BHW helped me do something that I never thought I could do.

I am so glad I found this place and I'm glad I didn't stay at wf. To me, BHW is the Google of IM.

I used to feel the same way as the OP,and I agree...to a point.

Their SEO forum is a joke and the Main Forum is full of self righteous pricks eager to part any unsuspecting noob with their money.On the other hand,their offline section of the forum is pretty good and there are several good posters in the copywriting forum.

So it's not like it has no value at all.

Never been impressed by the quality of WF, but there are nuggets of information to be found if you look hard enough. It just isn't worth the time to sift through so much crap to get to them.
