Today's Google update boosts EMDs

Despite recent rumors that EMDs are next to be targeted that appears to be more misinformation from mountain view. They did another algo update today (see http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2011/04/high-quality-sites-algorithm-goes.html) and its a big boost to EMDs.

I have a .biz with 52 crappy article directory links that is out ranking my main site that has thousands of links for the same keyword.

EMD = Exact Match Domain

Yeah mine got a boost but not really a huge one. So I think you could be speculating a bit. Maybe?

ahh ya, i hope they don't devalue it. I have one that's #1 and probably a lot of weight on it's EMD.net...Guess I gotta build it stronger just in case

i have a site freekeyword.com.

for months now it has been stuck at #6 for "keyword" and #3 for "free keyword".

i did notice today that now it ranks #3 for "keyword" and #1 for "free keyword".

pretty cool. maybe it is from the update. i'm not sure really. i've been building links like mad though.
