Hey,
I run a concept and today we are only using .no domain..

Should we also add a .com domain and will that make it more visible?

If it were me, I'd choose a main extension over my country's extension (us) if it were available. Unless you want your site to be associated with Norway, you could get the other ones and point it to no. In terms of visibility, I believe any extension could rank just the same as any other.

Okey, thanks man :) ill think about it.

if .com is available then register and 301 it to .no domain.

If you want your site to only target Norway then stay with the domain and 301 the .com. However I would highly suggest moving towards a .com if you like to venture out to other countries.

It depends on the place that you want to target, if you want to target the locations of norway then, use it. If you want to target the whole world then, use .com domains for getting good results.

Even if you are not targetting people in Norway, it doesn't matter if your traffic is going to mainly come from social media links or web searches.

Google doesn't care if you are on TLD or not. The same with facebook ads or pinterest pins.

It is certainly easier for a person to remember coms for branding but then we have sites like thepiratebay on a swedish TLD and then theres bit that uses Libya for it's URL shortening site.

I dont have it, but i can buy it.
