To Spin or not to Spin?

So having checked out the videos on Hummingbird, I once again heard the evils of spinning content.

I do handspinning of articles re-writing every sentence and then spinning every word/phrase of both sentences. I also usually spin in an extra sentence or in in the paragraph so the paragraphs are different sizes, etc.

Each one is 100% readable.... but obviously, they will be about the same subject.

Do you think it's still possible to detect them?

As long as you spin the title of the article too you should be fine, tonnes of services on here do it and it sounds like you do it better than any software can. We will still use spinning for tier 2 onwards.
 
Yes, I write 3-4 different titles, then spin the words within each variation.

I think you will be fine if you are rewriting your articles that much. I would even venture a guess that leaving a few sentences or common phrases the same would be fine. Search engines exclude content form their index that is substantially similar to other pages it already has.

You'll be fine. Depending on how much time you have - I would start with Title, then First sentences of paragraphs then paragraphs and then finally sentences.
 
Yes. It's definitely a reason for you to go with spin-able software/script. Could save you some decent time
 
i do same things and still works wonders. I spent whole day creating spintax and then i use it 100's times. Works like a charm, question is how long.

i write and article 5-6 paragraphs. For every paragraph i write additional 2-3 paragraphs, for every sentence i write 3-5 sentences, and then i go thro whole thing and insert synonyms that makes total sense. The result : 8k words article, i get 100% readable 95% unique spun article which passes through toughest moderation (web 20, blogs etc).

I heard google acquiring some kick ass computers (quantum computers) to detect spun shit easier. So i believe in time spun content will be harder to get away with, yet for now it still works.

edit: i even have a simple php script to insert few spelling mistakes and shuffle paragraphs in my every output.

quantum computers? That does not sound very convenient..
 
You'll be fine. Make your life easier and spin that sh*t! :)

If you think about it: put 1000 people in a room and have them write articles about one single topic.
You're bound to have very, very similar content by the end of today and Google can't punish that.

EDIT: Just make sure to do a proper, quality spin. There is no excuse for laziness.
 
Make sure that the New algorithm Humming bird will give more preference to the Long Tail Keywords(Phrase), so spinning may make the Keyword to be shuffled and re-arrange in another format.

The quality of the content is the only tool in the hand of all website and blog holder to rank high and also used to show in the SERP.

O rly? Please tell me how will these "quantum computers" differentiate between spun content and a sentence I rewrote manually or someone that wrote an article with a similar message but a bit different than me (ie weight loss is diet and exercise)?
 
You have not answered the question. How will these computers differentiate between my bad writing and good spinning?

When AI is going to be able to read, you'll also have AI writing articles.

You are doing this even better than any software. So, don't worry, you will be ok with it.
 
Handspinning, as you say, has an advantage actually. Google can't raise fingers on your content because at the end of day your content would be unique.
 
Just like the music industry, no one actually writes their own content these days... I wouldn't use spinning software, but handspinning/re-writing is a solid format that every copywriter follows.
