To prevent spam we're now blocking all users from adding links until they reach 15 posts. Attempts to add links by those with less than 15 posts will be auto blocked. As usual any problems please contact support.blackhatworld.com.

A round of applause for @Diamond Damien!

This is one hell of a news :) We will be free from all those baba jis.

Thank you DD for making this happen.

Well done Damien.

Appreciate the move. No more Blackmagic on BHW.
So lets do our thing.

Good idea @Diamond Damien hopefully that will stop a lot of the spam from getting onto the forum in the first place.

Nicely done BHW think-tank :)

15 is good. The goal is to stop those 1 post wonders .. automated spammers. With the limit, they will have to manually do 15 posts then they will get banned anyway lol ..

yes, 15 is to low, they can make 15 in a few hours - plus we need to grow this community with real people not bots, seen a lot of old threads reopened with spammy replies lately...

Excellent change.

I agree it should be made much higher too. 50 posts at least. I rarely ever need to put legit links in my replies. Most these "questions" that include a link are surreptitious SEO or negseo anyway.

Good idea, but that doesn't completely solve the blackmagic issue,
I wish it will be that users cannot start a new post in the first place without having up to 15 post or msges.

Wasn't this in place already? I seem to remember people posting in sales threads that they can't PM yet. Or was the limit just lower?

how about no new thread for the first 72 hours
Spammers can still register accounts and wait...

i think 15 is reasonable enough to stop those bots from spamming badly. 50 is way to high in my view
