To PING or not to PING profile links

this is a stupid question... whats the best way to ping the profile links?.. i keep reading different ways, i would like to know which on is the best.. obviously when you guys are saying ping them is not thru ping a goat or something like that right?... i have a new site and im building profile links, im trying to find out how many should i make and how many to ping at once... thanks

For new sites I add a total of ~50 links/day among all my link types. I'm of the belief that I'd rather it take a bit longer to rank than risk killing the site. I've pounded aged sites with 1000 articles+profiles+comments+web 2.0/day for weeks without problems. I've done 200/day on a new site and gotten it stuck. Start slow and keep testing...
 
i tried using your service there but it gives me an error for some reason...
 
Based on my knowledge

Let Google find them -> means more natural indexing and possibly more stable SERP increase.

Ping them -> Faster indexing but run the risk of been sandboxed.

Do you agree?
 
@Ray - We aren't aware of any bugs currently so please send any details you had on the error.

@stevenkuo - I totally disagree. Google won't find 95% or more of profile links. If it doesn't find them then you can't possibly get credit. Ping the links so Google does find them. Use a service like Linklicious.me to drip feed out the pings so they show up at an even pace instead of all at once.
 
I pinged all my backlinks for more than 3 weeks daily and nothing happened. I never got sandboxed so I let BigG find them.
 
im not going to ping all my profile links all social bookmarking.let google crawl them.
"ping" is a myth.
 
Ping, I'd say. Helps most of the time, so it's worth it. Bare in mind Google may never find some of them otherwise.
 
Whats Masspinger tool? Thats included in SB right? What free option is there to ping profiles?
 
This is probably a stupid question but what tool do you recommend to use for pinging?
 
Divided eh? I started pinging all my high PR profile links and my sites started rising in the SERPs faster...coincidence or not, Im not sure, Im doing a lot of backlink building. But Ill do some more testing and post back.

as Extropy has been promoting... trust me, use it, it's currently the only automated pinging tool available anywhere.... ANYWHERE. LOL! Enjoy!
 
In my believe, its obvious call for action to the big G if you'd got 1k for example a day linking to you from these profiles, I'd just split them in packages, keep pinging day after day, this strategy seems to be working for me, very slick, safe, won't take decades as most of you think it is!
 
Whats the fastest way to ping these? If we get a 5k xrumer, or even a 250 social bookmarks, if we run them through pingler.com we have to insert one URL and wait as it pings? I go insane doing this, hence I dont ping. Is there a mass-ping site, or something to where we can insert lets say 10% of our links into the thing to be pinged?

Always ping them, else it will take up to months for google to find, some pages will not be indexed even after one year.

I suggest, bookmarking after pinging.

i say don't, unless your site already has thousands of links, it will get sandboxed..
 
I goes for pinging. If you order backlinks, use the URL list in the excel report and enter it on Pingdevice. It helped get my links found faster.
