.to is no longer bulletproof

Hey,

I want to tell you that .to is no longer as bulletproof as it used to be.
It depends on where the .to domain is registered.
Get yourself a .su instead.
When you buy the .to domain from Namecheap or Spaceship,
https://whois.tonicregistry.to/... A simple abuse email to Namecheap/Spaceship is enough and the domain is down/banned.


.su/.ru, on the other hand, is bulletproof as hell.

what registrar to use? , tonic.to asks for credit card

I have a .to domain, if I look at the whois it lists [email protected] as the abuse contact, so I assume that if they send a message to that address, it will cause problems as well.
 
None of them are bulletproof, if they are after you they will get you....period. Just look at all the russian underground forums. Doesnt matter what hosting or domain they have, if they are on the radar they will get them.

I won't say the .to itself is no longer bulletproof... more like more registrars are becoming weak in the knees. You're right about it depending on where you register the domain. A member mentioned NJalla but you do know disputes are handled by Tucows yes? And they're not the most reliable. You can get your .to domains from NameISP, ro1, or Trustname.
