Please stay on top of your offers!!!

When I spend money promoting an offer, I want to know that my link will continue to send my visitors TO THE CORRECT LANDING PAGE! I shouldn't have to check it twice a day to make sure it's not redirecting to some bullshit substitute page.

This pulls money right out of my pocket, and forces me to assume your network is being run by a bunch of assclowns.

If my rant is not enough to get you guys to fix this, consider the following.

Publishers send their white hat traffic to networks that are on the ball. Networks that constantly have offers redirecting with no indication that they're paused or expired, or that shave good conversions, are only useful for experimenting with our "less wholesome" methods of promotion.

If this is an advertiser issue, then stay on top of your advertisers and make sure the landing pages are good. You're hurting your business if you don't.

We have hundreds of networks to choose from these days, if you don't come through for us, we move on to a network that does.

As a network owner I will chime in here. I cant speak for all networks but we let all our publishers know as soon as a offer dies, we try to let them know before the offer goes down. The problem here is some times advertisers get lazy and dont inform a network until the offer has been down a bit, sometimes you find out by someone letting you know. I understand your rant, but I would be posting this to my AM's email or AIM ID so they know how you feel...

    @ searchwiser

I realize it's usually the advertiser that starts redirecting. When it comes down to it though, the networks have to be responsible for the ads they're offering. If this only happened every now and then, I wouldn't be so irritated, but it seems like every day I'm finding an offer of mine no longer hitting the landing page.

Just today (after my initial post) I requested to run four e-mail submits from a popular network. I was approved, but when I went to test the links, all four went to incorrect landing pages. I just don't get why this happens so often.

I did write three carefully worded "wtf is wrong with your network" e-mails to AMs today, hoping it has some effect.

Man that shit never ends does it?

I have a good friend that runs a mid sized network and he is always saying what primadonnas the advertisers can be.

They have their offers on 10 networks and whey they hit cap they have to make 10 phone calls or IMs which seems like no big deal to me but apparently it's hard to use the phone / instant messenger.

it is the networks job to be on top of these things, I know, but for a second consider if you were Maxbounty or Neverblue with hundreds of advertisers and thousands of publishers and the advertisers really could care less about the networks who make them rich, so you as the network would have to literally test every offer every hour and see if the advertiser has re directed it.

It sucks when you are paying for traffic and you may as well shove the money up your ass when this happens.

It really all ends at the advertiser,IMO. If you don't want any more leads, tell your networks to turn off the valve, and the networks can tell the pubs, and everyone is happy.....

    Hear me, advertisers, DO YOU?
