To all: Please make use of the "report" button

More often than not, we see threads/posts that are not allowed on BHW.
For example:
- Selling outside BST
- Stereotyping
- Shares in the DOWNLOADS section while the item is on Do Not Share list
etc etc...

And what many of us do is, post in the thread telling the OP that this is not allowed. That is not right, it makes the thread bump to the front page of BHW and gets more eyeballs on it which is pointless.

The right way is to use the button located on the upper right corner of the post box.

If you find something that is against BHW rules, instead of posting in that thread,
1. Click on the "Report" button.
2. Explain in a sentence or two why you're reporting this. e.g. "On the DNS list".
3. Mods will take care of it.

I report a few threads every day (and I can tell mod react lightning fast, as they get deleted in no time)

And you're very right to encourage everyone to do this as well when they spot these threads to help keep BHW clean.

I usually report any sales thread outside bst, spam and racism whenver I encounter one....
And within next couple of minutes the tread is gone...

I think we need to make this thread sticky in the lounge.

I've seen senior members of BHW posting in the threads like

"Selling outside BST is not allowed - ban hammer please"

but not using the report button which is actually the right thing to do.

For example this thread has been live for over 4 days and a couple of guys have told the OP to take this down. If they had used the report button, that thread would have been gone long ago. (BTW, I've now reported the thread).
