To All Flippers: Watch out on these scammers!

I read this and followed the russian scammer on instagram. Obviously morally it's a really bad thing to do but it's really fascinating.

Interesting read, but surprised they didn't take notice of the sellers concern immediately. I realise sellers can get jittery but when he had disclosed the the buyer was using numerous email addresses they should have spent some time looking into it. A buyer based in Russia using a Canadian Credit card would have made me suspicious enough to carry out a few basic checks.
Anyway, hope they manage to screw those scammers.

You're exactly right here, of course, and it's one of the "lessons learned" mentioned at the bottom of the article. We should have taken Brendan's concerns more seriously from the start. :-(

Wow.Thanks for the heads up guys. Personally, I stopped taking credit card and Paypal years ago.

This was insane. I stopped taking Paypal a year after paypal started to become a thing.

I felt the terrible change arriving and look. One of the most hated yet still loved companies. hahaha
