I wanted to start a few blog. Have someone experience with the differents of a TLD and a hosted Blogscript e.g. blogger?

Can you rank on 1 easily with a hosted blog? Or is it much more difficult with a blog from blogger?

I'd say it's easier with a self-hosted WordPress installation since you can install amazing plugins that make your life easier (such as the All in one SEO Pack).
