.tk dead?

I talking about new .tk's, when I try to create a new .tk I'm getting this error:

Server not found

Firefox can not find the server www.EX200.tk.


Check the address for typing errors such as ww.exemplu.ro instead of www.exemplu.ro

If you can not load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

more than likely dot.tk is not dead and it's just that you aren't patient enough or you didn't set it up well
make sure you set the name servers correctly, there are multiple guides how to do this all over the place and wait for the DNS propagation (few hours)

Yes, for a tld to die off, you would expect a lot of buzz all over.
