Title Tag is not Getting Picked

Hi all,

The title tag that I added to the site is not getting picked. I'm using Rank Math (WordPress site): https://weblook.com/web-design-sri-lanka/ .
I tried many different methods but it doesn't seem to be getting picked. Also, the schema markup that I added is also suddenly not getting picked by Google. I need to know how to find the issue.

Google nowadays will put there own title tag. Unfortunately happens if they think it's better or just doesn't like it.

make sure you purge your cache and resubmit the sitemap it hapned. for me once

Please double check your title tag and schema settings in Rank Math, make sure you have it configured correctly.

yes, it's correct

The meta title & h1 are too long, with a couple of separator characters '-' & '|',
Also, the first heading showing on the page is completely different than the page title, even if it's a h2,
It's completely normal to get a different title shown in the SERPs for that case, you're confusing the crawlers/bots,

Change the title, make it shorter, remove/change the separator chars,
Change the layout of the page, get rid of the h2 heading showing above the content,
Then request indexing via GSC to get the page recrawled and the problem should be fixed in a couple of hours/days

Another reason to remove or change the heading section, the background makes the text unreadable,
Either change the section so it would show the main page title/heading, while removing the title in the content, or just remove it
