I'm still putting my brand name after the title; I don't think it brings any notable impact but doesn't harm any. you will still get rank as normal

It's always better to use your brand name at the end, because it increases BRAND awareness.

If the site name is not very relevant you can skip the last part. For certain SEO aspects like Local SEO, leaving this in the end can help raise the correlation to your "google entity". But generally this is not needed for many cases.

If website name contain any important keyword or has good search volume then it should be used otherwise only famous or known brands should use website name at end of title.

A brand name gives the content credibility and authority, while keywords make the content more visible and relevant to the target audience. Therefore, it is important to consider both brand name and keywords.

It doesn't matter much. It's not much of a big deal.

With or without site name at the end, has little to no SEO benefits or disadvantages. So go with whatever you like.

the only impact I can see %websitename% having is if everyone ranking on page 1 have similar titles and if your site is popular you might be able to help your fanbase spot your site faster in the SERPs because they see your site's name. But other than this I don't think there's any benefit of having %websitename% in the meta title of your page

If your website is a brand or any important keyword that helps in ranking, you can just add it.

For quite some time it was a fashion among some SEOs to leave the site name out of the SEO title. The idea was that the “density” of the title mattered, and the site name wouldn’t help with that. Don’t do this. Your SEO title needs to have your brand in it, preferably in a recognizable way. If people search for a topic and see your brand several times, even if they don’t click on it the first time, they might click when they see you again on their next page of results. If you don’t include your site name in your SEO title, you’ll also run the risk of Google automatically changing the snippet for you.

I'm always checking my rivals websites first, the most successful ones, and acting like they

This is your choice. It does not take any effect on SEO. But if your site is branded site, then you can add it to get focused among your competitor's pages on SERP results.

We have a client with a brand name that's 4 words long. I think having a business name this long in all of your posts would be detrimental.

1 or 2 word business name? Should be fine, but look at what big players in the SEO space are doing. I don't reallty see a lot of the big players doing it, so I really don't myself.
