I have just ran site:www.mysite.com in google to see what pages are indexed from my wordpress site

I noticed that one of the indexed pages was:

    www.mysite.com/2010/01

The title of that page is 2010 January and the description shown is from the sidebar of that page.

Is there anyway to control the title and description in these archive pages?
