Every single one of my sites/blogs has been sandboxed; tell I was sick of it so I decided experiment a little. While experimenting I found the mistake I was making, I was not getting a variety of links all my links were coming from the same place. 80% of my links coming from social bookmarking sites that left only 20% of links that were scattered all over the place. So I started to experiment so more by getting links from any were excluding social bookmarking sites. The site has been around for 3 months and still alive, I know 3 months isn?t that long of a time but its longer then my other sites lasted.
Here is couple of examples of stuff I did:
Edu links, here is my method for getting edu links:

I was never too much in to forum posting, I find 3 targeted forums and would 2-3 posts aday each. I also got a lot of traffic and most of it converted really well just as well as yahoo answers.
I made a squidoo lens and started to rotate it in with my link building. Even though I already had a couple of links coming from squidoo but I never linked to my squidoo lens. You might not think it well make that big of a difference. But it does though and it also boosted my rankings really a couple of spots.

I hope you get the idea, this well really improve your rankings if you?re not already getting a variety of links.
These experiments were taken a couple of months, I have created 2 blogs sense then and neither of them has been sandboxed. So it seems to really helping me and I hope it helps you out.
