Tips on starting a brand new Wordpress blog

Hello, I was wondering if someone would be as kind to give me a couple of quick starting tips on how to start a Wordpress blog and the blog's goal is to earn money ofcourse. As I'm literally broke I need to get back on my feet and earn some money soon.

Borrow some money from your parents/brother/friends... buy a linux based shared web hosting account. Buy a domain name. Use the free Fantastico to install Wordpress. There you begin your WP journey.

Or,
You can use xampp on your PC, install WP on it, do trials. Create a blog, write articles there, get the hang of it. Design the blog as good as you can. Then show it to you parents/brother/sister/friends and they will help you with the money part.

If you are asking how to setup up a wordpress blog, there is an excellent tutorial on youtube: just search for: "make a website step by step" by tyler moore.
 
Choose a niche where you're much interested in and buy a domain name related to it, install word press and start posting quality contents that your target audience might find it useful. Sign up with the best affiliate networks and post banner ad in your site.

Tons of free themes in the WP Theme-Search section. Choose yourself a nice theme, I'd recommend Thematic, if you like customising stuff.

Write some articles in your blog. Keep applying for adsense. Learn keyword research, keep writing more articles based on that research.

Blogging yourself out of your predicament.

I suggest you forget about it. Blogging is not a way to get you out of a tough spot. Get a part-time job to sort you out. Then blog the rest of your available time.

I read an excellent article several days ago. It is a 2014 resource guide for New Wordpress Bloggers. It speaks about themes, seo tactics, plugins, social media, tools. I think you may find some excellent ideas in the article that I and others have found useful.

Type the name of the article in your browser, and the article will come up. There are several websites that has the same article, but I would suggest reading the article from Creative Sol Vibrations, as they have tons of information on blogging.
 
You should first decide what you will write. Hosting, domain, script etc. is just the technical stuff, and that should not be so hard as the first one. I would suggest you to make some entertaining site with maybe funny pictures, videos and stories. You can get some free visitors for sure from social media only. You can put later on some ads like AdSense.
Making money online is not a quick process, and requires some time, at least few months for newbies, even ad agencies don't pay so quickly. I would advice you to find some regular job first, and do this in your spare time.

Sell unwanted stuff lying in your inventory or house. That is the fastest way to make some money, proceed to invest in a server and domain name.

Thereafter, it all depends on how willing you want to earn money!

If you new here and really want to know starting tips on 'how to start a word press blog' then I suggest you to search in Google or You Tube for more and in depth information.
 
We provide a free plan (ad-free) on our Wordpress hosting. You can check us out if you like, since it's a good way to start without spending money on your hosting.

I recommend you don't go with free hosts like 000webhost etc since most of them are terrible and very slow, your data is not secure.

Watch videos on YouTube, there are a lot of channels that provides a series of tutorials and it can help you understand beginner's stuff on Wordpress.

Please take note that blogging is not an easy money. Earning from a blog, it's a long process mate and it will take time for you to earn a decent amount of money from it. You have to invest time, resources, money, etc. and there are a lot of things to learn with regards to blogging.

So familiarize yourself with it first, look for great resources that can help you learn the basics and techniques and strategies about blogging. :)
 
to make money set up a blog with appropriate design and add affiliate links or adsense and drive traffic towards it.
