Tips on Seo!!!

Hi BHW members!!!
I have a website on amazon product which is on page1 and no sales yet.I need some tips and tricks on seo.I need some stratergy to work on to make sales.The average search for the related keyword is around 1,000 gloabal monthly search.I need to make atleast one sale to boost my confidence so that i can work harder.So to all the seo experts pls help me to rank1 for the keyword on google and drive traffic through seo and make sales.

Ok ..i may not be an expert but here is what you need to do :

1 Unique content for your site
2 Make sure your site is 100% seo optimized for your keyword
3 Go build some links

Dont overdo the link building or you will get a boot from the big G

have patience and keep working

Go to fiverr and buy some web 2.0's and post some articles on them pointing links to your site. Then order some forum profiles and blast those to your web 2.0's and then SB your forum profiles. Repeat until you hit page one. You may also want to add some bookmarks to that as well.

also is it 1000 exactor broad....could have a huge impact

well... I would have to see your site to give you my opinion. But if you are already getting visitors but no sales, then make sure you've got a strong call to action (google that if you don't know exactly what that is). Give them tips on how to use the product too. This way, they are most likely to buy the product because they will feel it has more value when they use the tips.
It sounds very basic but this last technique boost my conversion ratio 4X

To be frank, one of the biggest mistake you have done is to choose a product with merely 1000 searches. I have a 3 year old amazon website with 70K search and 3 more which are a few months old. The 3 year old is already on first page since long and I have not worked on backlinks for quite long. It keeps on sending me residual revenue. The new ones are of about a million searches a month and that is what I am concentrating on. I have converted only a few sales from the new ones but I am working on SEO. One of them have reached Page 1-2 of most search engines and hopefully will go even higher in the coming weeks. Having said that Amazon or for that matter affiliate sites with exact content from the original website (in this case Amazon) seems to have been somewhat devalued after the Panda update. I was also sent into oblivion even for domain keywords and now I am again working on SEO to gain back and improve the ranks. Secondly, Amazon has single day cookie. So, conversion is either instant or never as cookie is not stored for more than a day on the browser of the customers. It is always a bit harder to make sales even after ranking high due to that single day cookie but then it is volumes which would matter. To be frank, look beyond the 1000 searches keyword and work on more keywords. With 1000 searches even if you make into the top 3 of Google then you will have say 200 visitors at the max a month from that and hardly many of them will purchase. So, make it more diverse and target more keywords.

some tips are ...
first check your competition for that keyword which has 1000 global researches.If its moderate then

optimize site on-page first
then 100% unique content
then do some link building but not too much or your site will get spammed
