Tips on my Sci-Fi site improvement

I think I have built the sekleton and the basic concept of my site. What do you think of its design, structure and SEO? The latter is in early stage of development since I am a complete noob. Any tips will be appreciated. scifi-real [dot] com

It looks like you've already got more than 50 likes on Facebook. If these are real likes, then you are obviously doing well with Social Media. Your writing is good, but I would consider breaking it up into smaller paragraphs as people often skim over text that is in long paragraphs. You might consider getting a logo made. It can really make a bit of difference as it is often what people first see. I often use Fiverr as it isn't too expensive. I like how the www. and non-www. both redirect to the same page. Great job! Thanks for the tips. Although it is my own logo, I will consider changing it, since too many people say I should. It is obviously ugly.
