Hi everyone!

I'm just starting as a media buyer using meta ads mainly. I do leads gen for finance and I want to keep learning and grow as a real media buyer (I don't really feel like one as I'm always doubting on what are the best optimizations to do and when).
I do have a bunch of different campaigns, with different events and different country targeting. I am stuck using ABO (is what my boss gave me to work with) so I do all on it and 1 campaign only for each different event, divided by countries.

So my questions are:

  • Do you use a different structures like 1 ABO + 1 CBO?
  • Do you change daily spent depending on the country? If so, how do you find out what's the minimum to see results?
  • If you are creating a new campaign for a new country (so you don't have data on it), how long do you normally take until you see consistent results?
  • Do you usually use CostCap? Does it still work?
  • How do you see if the CPA is high for the country you are working on?
I'm so sorry if it seems like I am looking for a magic formula, just looking to understand better. Also, tried to inform myself with all possible resources but I feel I still lack on info.

If you have also other resources you think could help me please share them.

Thanks a lot!

ABO’s cool to start, CBO when u got some data. Test each GEO with like $20/day, let it cook a few days. CostCap still decent if u got volume. If CPA’s too high, switch angles or dupe the adset.

Focus on learning each market’s behavior test with low budgets, track results for a week, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Start small, observe patterns, and tweak campaigns based on real data theres no one size fits all shortcut.

Documenting every test and its outcome will speed up your learning curve more than any course ever could.

Don't just look at the cost of the lead. Look at its quality, use maximize number of conversion leads performance goal. It's quite heavy to set up, but effective. It's like conversions in an online store.
