Tips on increasing reach of facebook page posts?

What are your tips and tricks? What kind of posts do best?

I know that posts without links do better as far as reach is concerned. Other than that, I don't know anything else, unless your pay to have the posts promoted.

yea i need this too i post alot of rich media and out of 5k fans only 2-30 see my posts lately... i need to find out someway to fix this

Read Lakimo's thread about getting accounts to 5k friends and using it to populate fan pages. Which in turn, will enlarge your reach.

When you have the time for it, write quality engaging little texts for each post along with a related image. Ask you fans some easy stuff to engage interactions like comments, for example ask for opinions to the seen image, let them rate the content 1-10 etc. be a little bit creative about this. If your page get's a lot of fan interactions it automatically gains a better overall reach, because you reach more likely the friends of the fans. Also try to contact other in the same niche fanpages for possible share exchanges. Also as stated by SnakePliskin and in the excellent thread of Lakimo you can always use fb accounts with a lot of friends to call for interactions and population for a fanpage.

Ask them to share your content it definitely helps in getting more reach.

if possible can someone look over my page and give some suggestions? This is my legit fanpage (for me as a dj) i'm a retired IT Admin trying to work what i've learned over the years with these new algorithms seems like in the past 6 months or so everything's fallen off of all my social media and have slowed but my fanpage is the biggest crash aside from twitter
