[Tips Needed]Have you tried Coaching to a Completely NOOB from scratch..

Hey All,
I never thought of coaching before. But a one of my friend came home today to spend his time and our conversations came down to "money can be made online" topic. I shown him my proofs of being paid by Aff Networks..
(Not huge cheques like in sales letters though )

But the thing am facing is i have to go to very basic for him like right from explaining what is CPA (off course i.e.) But also about what a FORUM like BHW is and why one should join

Yes indeed it was very difficult for me to explain to him earliar but now am just loving coaching It was like a 1 hour paper presentation where i was explaining CPA stuff etc.

Any tips for me to work on my coaching career so as to improve myself

lets him discover by himself by reading articles or whatever then he will have tons of questions to ask you
then create a linkweel around his brain

The best coaching is done by seeing the desire of the person to learn, and if they are interested, you ask them specifically what it is that they want to learn, and go from there.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

I got a tip, stay to the point, else you can wander off very very far

Also, Make small goals for the kid you're coaching so that he/she can stay interested throughout..

I would NEVER coach a complete noob, not even for huge money. Just not worth it.

That being said, explaining forums and hooking him up with a few URLs so he can learn himself is probably the best course of action. And make sure he understands damn well that, if he has any questions, he should ask on the forums, not pester you.

Most of us learned internet marketing the hard way through googleing and reading and trying and failing and trying again and so on...

You have 2 options:
1. you could teach your friend everything you know, but that wouldn't help him because he would always need your help and your coaching plus he would never understand the VALUE of his knowledge. If you learned something the hard way it has much more value to you.

2. you could teach him how to learn it on hisown. That would really help him, because the internet changes day by day and he has to stay up to date in order to succeed in long term.

The best coaching you could give him is by telling him I've written here
