Tips For Using Bookmarking Demon

I took the punt and bought bookmarking demon, was initally going construct a strategy using imacros and some manual work (dare I say it). I have about 60 email addresses I can use and have not added any new pligg site to BMD yet.

My strategy was to bookmark some pages using a few accounts, then remark entries with other accounts to get them first page and get the links indexed. But seeing the ping tool on BMD it appears that I may not have to do this.

Not affraid of a little manual work to keep the strategy cleaner, if anyone has any advice I would appreicate it.

Get a "good" list of bookmarking sites. There are lists of thousands of sites on BHW but BMD will take forever if you just dump them in and for it to run through it. This will take a lot of manual work. They have a ton of dupes.

Have multiple accounts per site.

Be sure to use the RSS feed feature so that normal news links are added in.

Be sure to look at all the options in preferences. Especially the part about how long it waits in between actions.

Get your phpdug sites ready. BMD 5 is supposed to support those.
