It is like laundering money by passing it back and forth to try not to be identified.

1. Remove the watermark using Snaptik (snaptik.app), that's basic. Here what we will call the ''A'' file will be created.
2. Upload the ''A'' file in Canva.
3. Crop, rotate and trim the video. Trim just 0.5 second for example.

4. Add a filter of your choice.

5. Edit the video speed. You can just put 1.01x or 0.99. Or you can also put 1.5x or 0.75x if you want to radically change the length of the video.

6.Add some emoji or extra effect. For example, a falling snow effect. Shine, heart emojis, or anything discreet.

7. Add a small text in the video, it is optional, but it will change the video a lot by doing so.

8. Change the audio of the video. Remove the original and put another music, effect, AI voice or anything.

9. It is already done. Save the video. It will generate what we will call a ''B'' file.

10. You can use this site (https://www.remove-metadata.com) to clean up the video metadata. Upload ''B'' file.

11. Click download. This will generate what we will call the ''C'' file.

12. Now act like a normal person and go to CapCut (https://www.capcut.com). Upload the ''C'' file, it has no metadata and if you use it directly, it might sound suspicious to TikTok. So it is better to upload the file in CapCut and make small adjustments, add some viral effect and save the video.

13. Save it.

14. Finally you have the last file, the ''D'' file.

This final file has undergone the following changes:

✅ the watermark has been removed
✅ the original video was cropped
✅ the original video was rotated
✅ the original video was trimmed
✅ there is another color tone (filter) compared to the original video
✅ the video is shorter/faster
✅ the audio is different
✅ you added an emoji/effect to the video
✅ you added text in the video
✅ you removed the original metadata
✅ you introduced a new, normal, capcut metadata

These are tips for reusing content in TikTok Ads, I don't know if this works for you reusing others content in Youtube Shorts, organic TikTok, Reels, etc, don't ask me about it.

Thank you @Monzani, been struggling with this the past few months. I will definitely try this.

I never thought about deleting and introducing new metadata with CapCut. I just download with SnapTik edit with CapCut and upload to TikTok ads. Unfortunately, I'd say about 80% of the time TikTok's duplicate content algorithm catches it despite using all the edit suggestions you made minus the background effect.

Anyways, I got 2 questions if you don't mind.

1) Are you able to consistently beat TikTok's algo this way? As I said, in my case TikTok catches it about 80% of the time.

2) How visible do you make the background effects to make them effective? I made 4 example vids with background effects, would you say they are enough? Or should they be more visible?

Sparkle effect example: https://imgur.com/a/ybAwIXL
Leaf effect example: https://imgur.com/a/UrlqIrt
Random cuts effect example: https://imgur.com/a/mKEcHUD
Mesh effect example: https://imgur.com/a/iRf8ZuX

Thanks

(edit: sorry for the links not working for the images, in the editor it shows all my links are embedded properly but on the live page the link doesn't work for some reason...)

1) Yes, Also, I often select ''create video'' and add an effect in TikTok Ads instead of uploading the video directly.

2) All are sufficient, at least for me this is what is working, the videos undergo few practical changes. If you are getting caught, it can probably be for other reasons than creative.

What's a good maximum crop value for this? I am thinking a random value between 3-30 pixels should work, would you go above that? Also, when you rotate the video, you'll have some empty black space, doesn't that trigger anything on tiktok?

You have two options:

Either you crop. I don't have a specific number, but something that doesn't affect the understanding of the video.

Or you rotate + zoom. In this order. That is, you rotate the video first and then zoom in, so there will be no white space.

Thanks for the reply, just curious, how do you deal with bad video quality? Once I download with Snaptik and export it with Canva and CapCut the quality drops pretty noticeably. Do you have any way to deal with this? Thanks again.

sorry, but I didn't notice it
the video quality looks pretty decent for using it for ad creation, I don't think it decreased my ctr

use Topaz Video AI, this software can significantly enhance the resolution and improve the quality of videos.

Is it passable if the content owner denounces it. Or just pass the AI review?
There is probably no method of reusing content that would pass human review, it is very obvious that it is the same video with edits, to us humans.

Defenetely good points to keep in mind when reuploading, thank you for sharing!

Would we be able to keep the original audio if we added a new one on top in the TikTok editor and turned it all the way down?
Saw someone mention this so I am curious if anyone here tried it for TikTok ads.

I have a python script that does this automatically, though what do you do when the video you are trying to copy already ahs tiktok font/text embedded in the downloaded file?
Does this effect your results?

So I tried all of the things you suggested but it isn't working for me. I tested 12 products with each having 2-4 creatives but all of them had super high CPM and low CTR.

All of the videos I stole for my ads were viral on TikTok so it wasn't because the ad itself was bad.

I am at a loss for what I am doing wrong.

I made a quick vid of how I edit my videos, would you mind checking it out and letting me know if I am doing something wrong?

Video of how I edit:

Finished video ad:

And that's it, after exporting I just follow your instructions and then add new music inside the TikTok editor. As far as I can tell I followed your post.

The two things I can think of why it doesn't work are:
- The intensity of the filter is not high enough and doesn't change the colors enough.
- The background effect is not visible enough to trick the TikTok algo.

Anyways, thanks for making this thread and replying to my questions @Monzani, really appreciate it.

I found all the editing procedures provided by the owner to be surprisingly consistent with the ai editing tool -GhostCut, I'm currently using, which contains a large number of ways to automate editing, including video doubling, frame extraction, special effects, etc., and even includes translating and removing text from the video.
My final test came down to a roughly 60% probability of being detected inside the ad's algorithm. But in my own tiktok account, it is basically not detected, the best way to reuse material for advertising is to mix and edit.
