Tips for Outbrain ad approval

I'm way too heavy-handed and/or they are way too picky. I feel like every ad on Outbrain has to be rejected and fixed 5 times. I've read their guidelines thoroughly but there seems to be a wide range of subjectivity in their application. Is it a matter of account age?

Anyone have general tips or observations on Outbrains ad approval process?
