Well for me, the best way is to create as many doors as you can, so ofc proper on and off page SEO, strong backlink profile and then open doors from all platforms like reddit, instagram, facebook, tiktok etc.
The more places people can find you the more organic traffic sources you will have, this way if something happens to one of them for example a shadow ban or google rankings fall you will have all the others to fall back on while fixing your rankings.

The best way to gain traffic is getting backlinks from website with high authority and high traffic. Sometimes we need to pay to get backlinks on these websites. So, paid links with general backlinks are a great option to gain website traffic. Given that the website's on-page is already optimized.

for fast results target long tails with 0 volume on ahrefs/semrush but only if they make sense as a topic. if they are relevant topic then most likely people will search for them regardless of what the estimates of tools are. easy and fast way to get some extra traffic. in my experience such keywords can even get up to 50 visits a day if you get lucky and rank for some additional related long tails as well. just look at @Kikerinka journey thread, he's proven this a million times.
