according to me, you should not think of earning money or traffic from your blog at the very beginning. first, you should pick up a niche where there is demand for your service nd you will make long tail keyword having less competition.
starting off if i had to do it all over again from scratch i would make sure the website is clean nd caters to one single niche rather than trying to write on every possible topic.creatte quality articles that address common issues nd ensure that there is proper technical SEO. promote the articles through some relevant mediums nd do not hope for immediate revenue generation,instead, first gain traffic nd then try out different methods of earning money online.
