Thread is kinda old but maybe this is still helpful

I did an experiment on tik tok and was surprised how well it worked
Basically, all I did was rip video of cute girls dancing from Instagram, put some trendy music over it (you can do that while uploading on tik tok)
Cut it a bit so it wouldn't register as duplicate content

uploaded like 10 videos and a week later the account had like 500 followers and a ton of likes

So I guess what I'm saying is: make the content short, snappy, and both pleasing to the eyes and ears. Dopamine blast'em


Eh, I also tried to monetize the following, but that didn't work so well, so I guess this is the part that is truly hard

Follow trends and choose well the music I guess. Also, follow/unfollow works better than in Instagram, especially if you have good content/are hot.

Have connections. To be PR'd.

Dance with shoes on your head. I have seen such videos going viral. Makes no sense to even become popular doing such stuff at the end.

Following trending but make video which can help viewers learn on it
