Tips For a Newbie! I need some advices!

Hello!
I need some information if possible.
I'm a newbie but i try to learn and testing different methods to dominate google searches and what I learned I try to put in practice, so here is what I want to know. I have a site (a single site and want to learn from it) .
To rank it whats the steps to follow? Which of the following steps are important and in what order?
1. Create some wiki posts with 1 keyword to my site .
2. Directory submission.
3. Post in bookmark sites.
4. Post in social sites (facebook, G+, twitter, linkedin...)
Are the bookmark sites the same thing with social sites ?
5. Make profiles with my link in signature.
6. Post comments with my keyword to my website?
Did I miss a step? Have anyone testing and reached any formula that could help me to not make something bad to my site ?

I don't think there is a one button to push. Loads of ways work. Directory submissions have there use such as the free DMOZ its popular. Facebook is another good way to help but the traffic can be very hard to turn into money making. Bookmarking that will help. But after the few bits i have said i would say that was a good start lots more to do.
