Sup guys! I recently launched a gaming website about 5 weeks ago. The site mainly talks about recent news, rumors, and we even do a few reviews. My main methods of monetization are Adsense and Amazon Associate. At this point, I find that I am struggling a little bit. I haven't made any revenue... well, I did make .03 from Adsense. :p I haven't focused much on SEO because I've been trying to use social media as a main source of traffic, but that hasn't worked out very well (Only 90 Facebook fanpage likes, and a little over 600 Twitter followers). I'm averaging around 50 unique visits a day, which isn't anything in the gaming niche. And I was wondering if any of you guys had any advice. I feel my website design is pretty good, I'm just struggling to drive traffic.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Social Media plays a great role. but I would suggest you to work out on SEO too.
Also look for Forums related to gaming and become an active member there slowly you will get targeted audience into your website!!

Yes, even I agree with thehacker290494. You need more traffic then get a forum section. Introduce your friends or some people there as MODs and invite as many people as you can for discussion. You will get many more visitors and provide with them with tips and all. Have a closer look at what's going on with the top sites and do some necessary research. Giveaways will cost you a bit, but it's just the best way as you get more than what you spend for. Cheers. :)

Social media gives only the visitors and rank to your site. Build SEO for your site to get much traffic.

Youtube and SEO can drive good traffic to gaming website, gaming forums is another way to get targeted traffic

Built links with unique content. Social media also very helpful. Good Luck

Signature links can help get you some traffic to your site. And I do think that you need to promote it on facebook or other social media sites.

I would first start out creating unique and quality content then move towards social media accounts, goodluck.

Try G2A Goldmine instead of Amazon Associates, it's often more relevant to your niche. Instead of spending thousands and many hours of your time with SEO, continue driving traffic through social media and work with Youtube as well.

Take help of social media and also write unique and original contents.....

Can you do a review for it on youtube? This might draw some good traffic to the site!
