TIP: How to create a new email address without actually creating one

Hi all,

Add "+1" or "+2", etc.. before @ in your original email. This will be seen as a NEW email address to the website you're registering with, and STILL the message will be sent to your original email address.

EXAMPLE: [email protected] (PRIMARY)

Secondary emails can be:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

All of the secondary emails' messages will be sent to the primary one ([email protected]).

You can write anything after the "+" so you can easy remember what for what.

This trick works on the big email providers like Gmail and Hotmail. Don't know if it works on ALL email providers.

I saw this tip on reddit, and thought would share it here.

I ask because ive recently been using the . trick with gmail.

[email protected]
[email protected]
Etc

But trying that trick with hotmail, yahoo, gmx, mail.com, none worked.

But what the OP wrote here is a little different that the . trick, so i ask if it would work with hotmail for sure? I guess ill just try it out myself and see.
 
for a long time I use the method of points (.) on @gmail.com, there is even such a program as Gmail Generator for multiplying email addresses by dots. This is a very old method, but it still works
 
Yeah saw this trick this morning as well, can't believe I've never heard of it before.
 
Very old "trick", the smarter sites will recognize it as being the same gmail but you can still get away with it for many sites, what I do with free trials and new VCC , just keep in mind some sites may accept but look at other similar patterns and will ban you that way... Only gmail others do not allow this easily, they just have aliases etc. but that is too much work.
 
This would only work if the newly created email doesn't exist.

If [email protected] already exists so a new user creates [email protected] then using the add-on [email protected] would not work the way described above. It would be delivered to the new user, not the original Bob.

So if you use this method make certain you use a unique add-on.
 
Very old trick and is useless almost everywhere if you try to create for e.g Facebook Accounts. It will probably be ok for small websites but anyway... thanks for sharing :)
 
I had forgotten this tip. Pretty much works with just Gmail, i guess. Thanks!
 
It's very old trick
Used it for hundreds of instagram accounts
 
Oh, I've been nailed for this. AHREFs specifically does NOT like when you do this, and if they sniff you out somehow you will back backhanded. Don't ask why I had more than one account, the point is that there are definitely places that will penalize you in some way.
