I created an account on Tinder a few years back. Mid swipe, I was forced to verify as my account was locked. I verified, hoping everything would go away. It was taking them too long to get back to me on the verification process and I was still locked out of my account so I was getting impatient and really anxious then decided to create a new account altogether with new information while waiting for the other one. It was going fine till they locked that one too and asked for verification. I still verified and was waiting on them both.
Then they got back to me saying that I was banned from using Tinder for violating their policy. I don't recall if I appealed or not then I moved on to Bumble. Bumble didn't give me any stress at all. Two years down the line, I decided to give Tinder another shot. Downloaded the app, set up two of MY photos and it was okay. Then they said I should add more photos of myself if I wanted to see more pictures of my matches or potential matches as I was only limited to seeing two photos for every profile. I didn't want to trigger the verification alarm again with clear photos of my face just incase so I added random photos of illustrations to my profile. Not long after, my account got locked and I was asked to verify AGAIN!!!
Now, that's where I'm currently at. Do you think I should verify my photos again? Cuz everyone online says they save those selfies you take for verification so that when you want to verify again, they know its you and they still ban you. You don't even stand a fighting chance. So I want to know if the ban is just for "accounts" that violates their policies or the human beings behind the account meaning, as a person, you can't use Tinder anymore for life?
And please if you believe that I should go ahead and verify this time around, what can I do to bypass the verification process and not get me banned or locked out again? Cuz my worry is that once I verify, they would know its me and block me again
