Hello,

I am really confusing with regarding doing the link building

I am working on a one-page website with an EMD domain. If I made a website today then when to start making a link building?

Is there any issue if I am starting to make backlinks after directly to the next day.

Is there any specific timing to wait some months for a start to link building?

Please help related to the above question.

Just start website and get relax. It will take time for indexing and first 3 months is crucial if you want to drive organic traffic for long-term.
 
If your site is new domain you should try and start of things slow for the first months normally when you have your site looking good onpage wise next step up your social channels such as

Facebook
Twitter
Instagram
Youtube or any others you want

Now around 2 days from now or longer if you want get some foundation links setup

  1. Directory 10 over a month should be okay
  2. Web 2.0 10 over one month should be fine
  3. Profiles 15 over one month should be fine
Next month you can be a bit more aggressive link building you could attach say 1 to 2 guest posts if you want or other link types but don't do it to much and keep increasing slowly over the next few months once you reach 6 months your site should have more authority so Google will apply you to normally things more aggressive link building wise.
 
Give it a month. Set up some pillar posts and optimize your ON page.
 
You can start right away, there's no need to wait,
Just make sure to aim for good right links, not the low-quality ones
 
Quality matters. You can start sending the links right away. Drip feed the links & don't just blast all the links at same time.

Just start creating natural links from day one... First links can be other social properties of the brand, or web 2.0 sites using same domain name as user and linking to home, Then you can start looking for other type of links, like guest blogging or even comments on relevant forums where there are threads with relates content. All links must be from related content to relates content, To blast links on comments like is the 90s again just don't work. Those are fully ignored by Google now... They don't work now neither for negative SEO attacks

Think of link building like tax audits

If you suddenly come up with a million dollars and can't explain how you got it, then you're in trouble

Links are similar. If you suddenly get 1 million links out of nowhere, Google's gonna audit your link profile.

If there's no good reason for those links, they'll likely harm more than help.

The speed of the links follows the same rule. Unless you got featured on CNN breaking news, you better have a good reason for gaining 1 million links in short time.
 
1–3 months: Prospect for potential sites to target, and pull together the content that you need to entice those links. 2 weeks–1 month: Execute! It'll take awhile to write all the emails you need to write, and respond to the feedback you get. 5–10 weeks: Wait for those links to take effect
 
Add ABOUT.ME at your linking profile. Get your ABOUT.ME URL the same as your EMD and that'll help A LOT!
 
My only advice to you, is making traffic to that website first, don't even nee to index it manually
what's important is the traffic should be natural .
