I am trying to rank a map in a medium to hard niche. I just added citations to it like a month ago. The map is 3 months old this week. What is the turnaround time frame for seeing some ranking changes? Website is organically ranking on google search better than the map ranks on the same keywords. They have tons of competiton

The map is connected to relevant pages with keywords
The map owner is *Now* adding reviews consistently
The map stays updated
The map has citations and citations that are niche but a month recent.

Reviews should be added
A little ads on maps too can help

I am running ads as well but i am running into *bid learning strategy* with 0 impression. 1st time doing google search ads on the account. I was also wondering how long that takes. The budget atm is 25$ and looking to find out how big it needs to be for visibility. Since everything and i mean everything is under 3 months old, hard to know if age of accounts or business is the reason.

Budget maybe too low for that niche
Increase
Then reduce when you start getting impressions

Honestly, local SEO moves super fast. You should've seen something moving within a month. Ads have nothing to do with local ranking in the 3 pack, but will most likely get you farther in terms of scale and user value.
That being said, $25/day won't take you far.

With good citations, reviews, and updates, a local map in a tough niche can start moving in rankings after a few months, but patience is key.

You should have seen the effects by now but you still haven't seen any improvement then something wrong with them.

And for ranking in local maps, Reviews do impact a lot.

Add the location, service, and the guy who did the service in the review. You will see much better improvements in the local map.

The review velocity also matters in this.

Learning as i go. The map had way too many categories and didnt notice. Some were unrelated, but close, making the changes tomorrow. I started at 20$ and going to do a slow creep up. I got put back on limited ads eligle and learned one keyword can do that, its fix now.

If it's limited by policy, it means that you run either garage door repair or locksmith services, it needs advanced verification and you'll be able to run ads for it as well.
