Time is precious, particularly when it comes to running a small business. Yet there are never more than 24 hours in a day. Some entrepreneurs respond to this fact of life with focus and purpose. Others freak out.

So that, how do you manage your time?

I use the task list and priority to maintain time schedule for each task.

I definitely find that structuring my workload through a to do list helps keep things on track. I often find myself using mindmaps when i'm trying to break down larger work items into individual tasks.

And don't waste time guessing an end date for tasks and too much organization, just do the best you can at the moment for each task, remember every second counts.

I tend to use todo lists with different priority levels.

- Wake up early
- Have a good, healthy and balance diet
- Exercise
- Write the goals you want to accomplish during the day
- Put your phone aside. Delete all social media.
- Pour in 9-10 hour of complete focus into your business and learning.

It sounds stupid. But believe me, once I started waking up early and reducing the amount of time I spent on social media, it was like I saw the light at the end of the tunnel of how to manage my time. It will de different for everybody, but certainly these tips will help you to see time as valuable as it is.

Everyone has the same 24hrs in a day, use a daily planner and follow a tight persistant hour to hour schedule, even micromanage your days by 15minuite intervals.

If you do plan on creating planners make sure you dont fall out of routine, it's a horriable habbit to break once started.

Hope this helps.

I multitask as frequently as possible and try to utilize all of my free time to the best of my ability. I always make sure to check notifications immediately and respond to possible leads in a timely manner. I also lose a lot of sleep! :):D:p

check eben pagan wake up productive 2 course, just watch the 3 first free sales video from him and apply them by using pomodoro technique,

it's work 100% Well For Me!

I've been looking for a way to combine to do lists with the pomodoro technique for a long time, and about a month ago I finally came across a solid cross-device, cross-platform solution: Focus To-Do. It's been a game changer for me, I can lay out goals and steps to take, then track progress and focus with the pomodoro method, and look at reports to see how much time I've spent on each project. When I feel things are taking too long, I strive to work faster and harder to cross them off the list.

If interested: http://focustodo.cn - not affiliated in any way, but I'm a big supporter of what they've produced. It's free, and if you want syncing it's a small one-time fee per device.

I just try to avoid taking things on that don’t pay well, I don’t book too much work in per day and be realistic about allowing enough time for a task or project.

Really try to modulise projects so I can jump onto a project for an hour, for example, then stop without worrying that I’ll lose track of where I got up to.

Also, schedule in down time - no point booking up your entire day because you need work / life balance.

1. Get Todoist (free). I like it because i can add priorities, due dates, and projects quickly to invidual items by typing shortcodes (e.g typing "p1 every day 6am #meditate Do meditation" quickly creates a recurring everyday task at 6am in the Meditation project to meditate.

2. Take all your projects. You've probably got a dozen to a hundred.

3. Grab a coffee, tea, whatever, go to the bathroom, shut down Facebook - eliminate distractions. Commit an hour to moving forward as hardcore as you can.

4. Set an alarm for ten minutes on your screen (basically the Pomodoro technique). Spend ten minutes making progress on the top priority item for each project. When time's up, add a todo item for the next day, and move on to the next project.

5. Every hour (so every six items), get up for five minutes, walk around, do some pushups, go to the bathroom. Relax, prioritize, get read to execute.

6. Every two hours, take five minutes to meditate, clear your head, refocus. Yeah you lose five minutes, but being focused helps you be more efficient.

7. Once you've spent ten minutes on each project, use your leftover time to dive deep into a long task on one of them (1-10 hours).
7a. Before each mini-task during the long period, write down exactly what you're going to do for the next ten minutes.
7b. Focus on that. Knock it out.
7c. When the timer goes off, adjust your plan as necessary or move on.

Benefits of doing it this way:

1. You don't forget about projects - every day you get a quick look at them, and can connect dots in new and novel ways.

2. You don't become overfocused - it's easy to spend four hours doing something that should take one hours, because you got way too focused on one little thing that doesn't really matter.

3. Short, ten minute chunks mean you can go at 100% on that task for ten minutes with no distractions. If you spend an hour on it, you inevitably start slowing down and becoming less efficient, start answering texts, wander off to find food, get bored...

4. Forcing yourself to take longer breaks every hour or two lets you relax, step back, re-evaluate what you're doing. You're a human, not a robot, so you need water, food, and proper activation / stress management in different parts of your brain (which meditation helps with) to work at the highest capacity.

there was a free time recording app posted from a admin /mod

i suspect it in the download section .

BTW - a couple I use are

Toggl.com - free time tracking Pomodoro timer, with a Chrome extension. Click it to start, it alerts you after a customizable amount of time, and logs the task/project you were working on.

And.co has a nice time tracking tool and creates invoices for professional stuff. Free, if you only have a few clients.
