Time Frame For Results?

Hey there all... this is just a question to see what the average is considered... If you get like 20 real PR7+ ******** profile back links how much time do you think it will take for the results to show in the SERPS?

14 days
30 days
60 days
Longer...

That's one of those 'how long is a piece of string' questions. It really depends on your site, the competition and how well optimized it is. After-all, they're only profile links. Depending on the above factors, it might do something, it might do nothing. That said, I guess you could expect Google to 'see' them within 2 weeks if you're not using a link indexer. Are these profile links on actual PR pages or are they just the PR of the the domain? Focus on building more pwerful links and doing good consistent SEO instead of worrying about how long for this....how long for that. Re-asses where you stand after a month or so and see where you stand. Sweet?

Coolio, Yes they are do follow profile links and we have optimized the profile page on a PR8 domain but the url is like domain/user/myprofile... I check to see if the actual page is indexed by of course putting the site:thenthefullurl in goog1e search and so far none of them have been indexed as of yet but it has only been a couple days. I was just more curious than anything, we just basically tripped and fell and found this site on accident and when we saw they were do follow about crapped our pants.

Not all sites are equal, It depends on a lot of factors. Usually it takes a few days to see movements, depending on how fast the page gets indexed.

And.. don't expect to rank with profile links.. they are not really pr7 ..
The domain homepage is pr7, but your profile will start with PR0
(Unless its an old profile page, with lots of incoming links)

This. Also it looks like they're 20 links from the same IP address - it's not the same as 20 links from different sources. Google will treat it more like 1 link rather than 20 links.

Don't overdo it though...

It'll take some where from 3 days to 4 weeks if the links are stronger.

You may never rank with profile links, as the page on which you got your links do not have any metrics to rely upon, domain pr is good for diversity.
