The ratings aren't going to kill the app. It is the app that helps people put their problems aside and vegitate away. The app is going nowhere. The ratings are all from China haters. Google can expunge them all with the click of a button if they wanted to. This is not final.

It's because,
1. Class between youtubers and tiktokers.
2. Tiktok spreads Rape, Nudity, Hate speech, terrorism activity in India. That's why Indian people rate them what they deserve
If you think why Indians rated 1.2, just change the geo to india and you can see number of trash contents.

I am not a fan of TikTok, but this is fucking ridiculous. Lots of people blame TikTok (a chinese app) for a bad privacy policy, stealing data, censoring etc., while it is actually NO difference from Google (YouTube, Google Maps...) or Facebook/Instagram. They even give the information to the CIA/NSA according to Edward Snowden.
Beside this: Tiktok is pure entertainment. The app itself is just average. The users mostly have a narcissistic personality disorder...from what I saw.

The problem here is not privacy. Content by Indian tiktokers is outrageous. Glorifying rape, acid attack on women, animal abuse, promoting religious hatred and terrorism and what not. Tiktok's got pretty poor content moderation and they got what they rightly deserve. But it's not the end of the app. Google will reverse the ratings soon.

The video was posted on YouTube and YouTube deleted the video... so they should be blaming YouTube

Every society has rapists, hate spreaders. But that doesn't mean a 15m Follower account will do this act, And tiktok will be silent about this.
