TikTok stitch without my videos

Hi

I noticed many accounts are now doing Stitch with popular videos, but they are not using any videos of their own.

I tried making stitch with popular videos too, but TikTok makes me record a video of my own as well. Cannot upload anything from the gallery also.

What I want is to be able to just use the other video and not recording anything myself.

Anyone knows how is this done?

After the new TikTok update you can no longer upload stich videos like that. The content you are trying to achieve can now be made by a new feature called repost. You can use it to completely post the TikTok of other popular creators.

I can see however there are still many creators that are using the stitch function without recording anything . And it looks like they gain immense traction.

PS I tried Repost but it looks like when I do it, nothing actually happens... I cannot see the video anywhere...
