Which app version of Tiktok should I install on Android to do the stitch method?

For sure, one, specific old version. But to target it to the USA, it's not the only download that APK. The APK must be downloaded from the USA Google Play, not some APKPure.

lol, You cannot install old versions on Google Play. So, even if your Google Play is in USA IP, it will still install the latest version.

You don't understand. It must be the APK downloaded on PC, from the USA created Google Play account/IPs.
There are services like APK Pure created by Americans. They have old APK versions as well.
For example APK Pure is using Russian credentials, so they have Russian APK versions
When I downloaded the APK from APK Pure, TikTok asked me if I know English or Russian

This is actualy weird, but as I was Android dev for 11 years I can tell you, you can have different APK version for each country.
Apple also have this feature for devs. Weird that APK versions have different size if you download it in European Google Play and USA
