TikTok Sim-card country change

I've read in several threads that tiktok can show the audience of your country even if you have a US IP, US account and get your sim-card out. It detects other data on your phone that links you to your country. So it works only if you get a new iphone or reset the one that you have.

But if i don't want to buy a new one or reset mine, then can i manage it by getting a US sim-card (with US acc and IP)? or eSim?

Also one guy here wrote that when he was using other countries sim-cards, tiktok automatically changed his feed to that country's videos.

What you guys think, really need your advice.

Take out your sim card, turn on air mode(I don't remember if this is necessary), and connect a VPN. Then open TikTok. It will show the content where your VPN connection. If you connect a Japan VPN, it will show you Japanese content.

yes tiktok getting cookies if you create account on US ip and then login back that account on other phone which is your own country then tiktok will show you your country video not US becouse of tiktok algoridam

it will for sure if your phone is brand new or reset one, but if it's not then tiktok collects a lot of your phone data and eventually knows your true country

I managed to change the country by using data-only sim cards from US.
