For example, if you need to open a store in the United States, you will need to prepare: 1. A U.S. business license (you can obtain one through a U.S. friend, purchase one online, or buy a ready-made TikTok account); 2. A U.S. IP address (you will need a dedicated IP address, or there may be software that can help isolate the store's network).

If you own your own products but don't want to run your own store, you can find people who already have stores to promote your products—a collaborative approach (of course, this will reduce your profits because you'll definitely need to give them a commission).

On the other hand, some accounts are sold for just a few dozen dollars, but these are generally considered low-quality stores. Their listed legal representative often cannot cooperate with the platform’s secondary identity verification, which leads to a high risk of the store being restricted or removed.


For long-term stability, it’s best to apply for your own business license and act as the legal representative yourself, so you can smoothly pass platform verification later on.


This is part of the TTSHOP model, where merchants list products and invite creators to post promotional videos, helping drive sales and increase profits.

Is Dropshipping possible on TikTok Shop, or do you need to have inventory and handle shipping yourself?
